Operation Pollinator is a Syngenta biodiversity program designed to enhance the number of pollinating insects on farms and other areas. Focused on creating natural habitats for bees and other pollinating insects, this program provides farmers with a practical and meaningful way to increase and improve biodiversity on their individual farm operations.
What you should know about Operation Pollinator:
- Operation Pollinator sites provide critical habitat to pollinators, improving biodiversity and soil health.
- The seed mix aims to provide a succession of flowering plants that provide a continuous source of pollen and nectar for pollinators.
- Farmers enrolled in the program will receive a high-quality wildflower seed mix to establish an Operation Pollinator site on the farm, as a way to provide a continual source of pollen and nectar for pollinators.
